Readership for these specialized blogs will always be small tho I think they tend to be loyal. <br /><br />Regarding isolation I would veer towards bouts of isolation followed by relatively intense encounters with other people. But you are right that you won't spot the gaps ourselves. For my part, this new blog is a way to both make writing a more natural part of my life, as well as being a small community building effort. I'm not sure that I will have a large readership, but it gives me a place to have discussion like this one, and to share what I'm thinking about with others. <br /><br />I don't accept that isolation is better for the philosopher.
